A free to enter online slots tournament has been running at Omni Casino since April 15. It will run till April 30. Players can still enter the tournament but may have to wager a bit aggressively to make up for lost time.

The online tournament is called the Marvelous III Slot Tournament in honor of the Marvel branded online slots that are very popular at Omni Casino. However wagering is not restricted to these slots games. Players can wager on any of the eligible slot games, which are any of the 15 to 20 payline Playtech slot games on offer at Omni Casino. It is the third year that this annual event is being held. The Marvelous III Slot Tournament is a multi-level event that caters to three bet ranges of slots wagering. The first is $0.45 to $1.49, the second is $1.50 to $3.99 and the third is $4.00 and above. There are three separate leader boards for each bet range and at the end of the tournament players will be placed on the leader board corresponding to their average bet over the entire tournament. This ensures that players compete against those with similar bankrolls.

The total prize pool for the entire tournament is $15,000, which is divided over the three leader boards. The prize money allotted to each leader board will be shared by the highest ranked players on that leader board. The leader board with the lowest bet range will reward 55 players, the middle one will reward 20 players and the top one will reward only 15 players. For each real money spin of $0.45 or higher on any eligible slot game of the player’s choosing, he will earn one tournament spin point. Based on the points earned over the entire tournament period, the player will be ranked on his leader board. If the player manages to be in the top ranks then he will get the designated share of the prize pool. The leader boards will be updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday within the casino lobby and at the tournament webpage during the currency of the tournament.

The Omni Casino Marvelous Slot Tournament has some special prizes. A special $30 Marvel Hero prize will be awarded at each leader board update to players that land on a special Marvel ranking position. A player may win this prize an unlimited amount of times. Players who spin more than 110,000 spin points for the entire tournament will be awarded an extra $200 to their winning prize and players who spin past 150,000 points will win an extra $400.
