A press release from Microgaming confirms that the leading software provider to online casinos will be keeping its date with the girls with guns on April 9. On that day the video slot game Girls with Guns – Frozen Dawn will go live on its download, Flash and QuickFire platforms.

Frozen Dawn is the second game instalment in the Girls with Guns adventure series in which the gun totting females head from the tropical jungles to the icy climes of the Arctic. As expected this video slot is “jam-packed with special features and explosive action”. There are some similarities to the earlier slot game. Frozen Dawn offers the same 243 ways to win structure and the Girls with Guns symbol acts as the wild. But there are plenty of new features as well. Frozen Dawn introduces the rapid-fire Shootout Bonus, randomly triggered within the base game, where a player can pick one of several targeted symbols to shoot and win a cash prize. The video slot’s free spins feature includes randomly assigned Frozen Wilds or Magnetic Wilds.

On the same day Microgaming will release a cross platform game titled High Society. It will launch simultaneously on all platforms - download, instant play and mobile. The video slot will also launch concurrently across Microgaming’s casino, bingo, poker and QuickFire online licensees. As its name suggests, High Society video slot will give players a shot at the high life. The symbols on the reels include lavish watches, grand yachts, sparking jewels and private planes to represent the life of the rich and famous. The slot game provides many opportunities to players to earn their riches. It offers a fantastic free spins feature. In addition to the free spins awarded, players are offered a bonus choice. They can opt for either Super Wild Reels, in which up to three wild reels appear, or Super Multiplier, that offers up to 10x multiplier. The promotional demo videos for both these coming slot games have been released by Microgaming.

Microgaming has stated that it will make a practice of this cross platform release and many more of the future games will be launched in this manner.
