The eGR B2B Awards for 2014 have been announced and the software provider Net Entertainment features prominently in several categories. eGaming Review is a leading journal for the online gambling industry which confers the eGR B2B Awards every year to the best service providers. These recognize the achievements of suppliers from across all the various e-gaming disciplines including software, networks, mobile, payments, recruitment, IT and infrastructure. The awards are conferred across all online gambling portals such as casino, poker, bingo and sports betting. The fifth eGR B2B Awards were announced on June 17 at the Pavilion at the Tower of London.

The performance of Net Entertainment at these awards underlines its position as the world’s leading software provider of high-quality online casino games. Net Entertainment won three awards in all. One was for the “Mobile Supplier of the Year”, which it won for the second year running. Per Eriksson, President and CEO of Net Entertainment, said, “To win “Mobile Supplier of the Year” two years in a row feels extra special. This shows our continued commitment to truly driving the online casino market and pushing innovation forward within this highly dynamic industry.” The other awards were for the “Slot Provider of the Year” and the “RNG Casino Supplier of the Year”. Despite the emergence of live dealer online casino games as a prominent force, the random number generator based software continues to be the core of the industry. Within that, slot machines have over 70% market share. What is interesting is that Net Entertainment was also Highly Commended for “Live Casino Supplier of the Year” and “Innovation in RNG Casino Software”. This demonstrates the all-round and forward thinking capabilities of Net Entertainment.

Some of the other winners related to the online casino segment of the industry were as follows. Microgaming is usually in the awards, but this year it had to be satisfied with a solitary High Commendation for “Innovation in Mobile”. There were other mobile gaming related awards. “Mobile Payments Solutions” went to Skrill and “Mobile Gaming Software” went to Quickspin. SafeCharge was adjudged as the best “Payments Company” and the award for “Innovation in Payments Solutions” went to PayPal. “Innovation in Slot Provision” went to Realistic Games and “Live Casino Supplier” went to Evolution Gaming. Perhaps the most prestigious award is “Platform of the Year”, which correctly went to Playtech.

The panel of judges was constituted from leaders in the industry and included Alex Czajkowski Former CMO of Gala Interactive, Daniel Eskola Head of Gaming in Unibet, Mikael Pawlo Co-Founder of Mr Green and Jamie Reeve Product Manager of Paddy Power.
