Microgaming QuickFire In New Agreement

Gone are the days when service providers to the online casino industry used to vie for market share on their own steam. Now strategic partnerships are becoming the norm and Microgaming is adopting this route to expand its horizons.

The leading developer of online casino games has announced a re-seller agreement between its QuickFire platform and Comtrade Gaming. The latter is a leading technology supplier to the regulated online gambling industry. As a result of this agreement, Microgaming will integrate the QuickFire platform with Comtrade's iCore gaming platform. This will allow Comtrade Gaming to offer the market-leading Microgaming gaming content on QuickFire to their widespread customer base. The gaming content on QuickFire include online casino, poker, bingo, live dealer and multi-player games.

Steven Valentine, Director of Interactive at Comtrade Gaming, stated through a press release that they were looking forward to the implementation of the agreement. He believed that new games through QuickFire would be a great opportunity for their existing and future clients to increase traffic at their sites. Valentine added, “Microgaming's world renowned content is a great fit with our state of the art platform technology and supports our strategy in working with leading operators.”

Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels also released a statement on behalf of Microgaming on this occasion. He referred to Comtrade Gaming as an established supplier to the gaming industry. He said that this deal would enable Microgaming to reach within Comtrade’s markets through the latter’s extensive clientele. He concluded, “We have no doubt that our award-winning catalogue of games will be the perfect addition to Comtrade's iCore Platform.”

Meanwhile Microgaming is continuing extending the mobile portfolio it offers to its direct licensees. Its new online slot Football Star has been a big hit at its online casinos since its release on May 8. Microgaming has announced that this football themed slot game will soon be available on mobile handsets, allowing more players to get a foretaste of the FIFA World Cup before the event.
